The Thing About Jellyfish has begun production of being made into a film. At this time I cannot find an anticipated release date.
Ali Benjamin says that she began writing a nonfiction book about Jellyfish for adults. She was unsuccessful in her attempt and The Thing About Jellyfish came out of it. This book was a National Book Awards finalist in 2015.
